Upon the requests from prospective participants of the ICWEE2015, the deadline for submitting the abstract has been extended to October 20, 2014. On behalf of the organizing committee, I am pleased to invite you to participate in the Third International Conference on Water, energy and Environment (ICWEE2015) that will be held at the American University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates on 24-26 March 2015.
You are invited to submit abstracts by October 20, 2014. Topics of interest include, but not limited to:

* Water resources and sustainable development of the region
* Progress in water protection and remediation
* Desalination
* Wastewater treatment
* Water and energy
* Environmental impact
* Economic management and development of water resources
* Other water related topics

In addition, authors may submit their papers to Desalination as regular papers mentioning they were presented at ICWEE 2015 and are within the scope of the journal.
I would like to make you aware of two workshops (Design, Operation and Economics of Membrane Desalination Systems and Process Modeling & Optimization, Cost Analysis, Pollution Prevention and Debottlenecking) that will be held prior to the conference on March 22-23, 2015.
