Dr. Florent Englemann, Consultant in Biotechnology from IRD Montpellier, France visited Hamdi Mango Center for Scientific Research and its director Dr. Abeer Bawab, who is also coordinator of the JOCHERA FP7 project. He met with Dr. Rida Shibli, tissue culture and cryopreservation specialist and Vice-Rector of the University of Jordan, as well as Dr. Ayed Abdallat, molecular biologist, and the biotechnology laboratory staff. Hamdi Mango biotechnology laboratory has all the equipment and facilities required to perform the experiments required for the BOT-ERA project and the staff has good experience and expertise of in vitro culture and cryopreservation techniques. In addition, an MoU already exists between the RBG and Hamdi Mango Center, which will facilitate future collaborative work
