HMCSR hosted the workshop with the title " Development of an interdisciplinary programme on Climate Change and Sustainability Policy CLIMASP National Workshop" for two days (19-20 March, 2014)
The workshop was organized under the umbrella of CLIMASP project, this project has been funded with support from the European Commission Tempus Programme. The focus of the interdisciplinary CLIMASP program is to address the issue of climate change and sustainability policy from an environmental, social, economic, cultural and political perspective, with regional reference.
The participants, studied academic plans and programs offered by scientific and research institutions and the possibility of supplying them with academic courses and disciplines related to climate changes that are the most in tune with the current needs of the labor market.
The program’s Coordinator, Dr. Ahmed Al-Salaimeh, mentioned that this program gives students the opportunity to obtain a diploma in climate change and sustainability policy in addition to the bachelor's degree granted to him/her within their specialty.
