World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Deputy Director General John Sandage visited the University of Jordan (UJ) on Monday, March 20, and met with President Prof. Azmi Mahafzah.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Ashraf Bani Mohammed, UJ Innovation and Entrepreneur Center (UJIEC) Director, and Ms. Maysa El-Sabaa, Minister of Industry and Trade delegate.
The meeting examined the possibility for UJ represented by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center to join the WIPO Technology and Innovation Support Center (TISC) Program.
Mahafzah said confirmed the University's continued support for its innovation center and its keenness to empower young innovators and entrepreneurs.
In turn, Sandage expressed his organization's desire to extend the bonds of cooperation with UJ.
