Translation Center (UJTC) Hosts Cultural Celebration: "Translation: An Art Deserves Protection"



In celebrating the International Translation Day at the Translation Center, under the patronage of the University Vice President for Humanities Schools. 
The University of Jordan Translation Center (UJTC) hosted a vibrant cultural event under the theme "Translation: An Art Deserves Protection." The event featured a dynamic book bazaar, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, showcasing the center’s key translated and edited works, highlighting its contributions to fostering cultural exchange and academic excellence. 
A lecture titled "The Olive Season in Translation and Literature" was delivered by esteemed scholars Dr. Mahmoud Zidan and Dr. Mahmoud Al-Jeren, offering an insightful exploration into the intersection of translation, culture, and regional heritage.
In addition, participants engaged in an exhilarating translation competition, underscoring the skill and creativity involved in the art of translation. The event stood as a testament to the dedication of translators and editors who enrich literature and preserve cultural heritage, reinforcing the vital role of translation in connecting societies and fostering understanding.​
