As part of its educational and community mission, the University of Jordan has endeavored to develop various training and educational centers for the work of rehabilitating and developing the human element in the Governorate of Aqaba. For this purpose, the Language Center at the University of Jordan has been established in Aqaba branch to launch various language programs, Since its establishment in 2015, the Language Center has been working on the rehabilitation and development of employees in public and private sector institutions and companies through a series of language programs and specialized courses within the needs of companies and the scope of work. For in addition to holding a series of language courses for the local community and public and private schools not to mention workshops.

 The center's role is not limited to local, but the Center seeks to extend cooperation with Arab and Western universities to conclude international agreements to exchange experiences and attract foreign teachers to work within the cadres of the center through the programs of teaching Arabic language to non-Arabic speakers, which is based on attracting foreign students in a specialized language program Arabic by teachers specialized in this and work to familiarize them with the archaeological sites, tourism and religious, and is characterized by the nature of Iraq, originality and Arab traditions.
