"The Infectious Disease and Vaccine Center (IDVC) was established on 29th of September, 2014 at the University of Jordan. The center aspires to be a platform for collaboration among several health sectors and help create teams of collaborators including epidemiologists, clinicians, microbiologist, veterinarians, vaccinologists, and pharmacists with the aim of controlling infectious diseases.
The center aims to perform educational, clinical, and research activities within the scope of infectious diseases that are of interest to Jordan. Together with other health sectors, the center also aims to be an active site for the advice on health policy in Jordan.
The center has the advantage of being a part of one of the largest research enterprises in Jordan – The University of Jordan, which will allow it to be in direct contact with distinguished academics and outstanding research facilities."
