As part of the Women-Friendly Label project activities in Jordanian universities, AL- Hayat Center – RASED, in partnership with ActionAid Arab Region, organized a special workshop at the University of Jordan / Center for Women's Studies, led by the Women Core Group, entitled:
“Women's Economic Rights in Jordan"
The workshop provided a rich dialogue space that brought together female and male students to introduce the Women-Friendly Label and its role in building a fair and equitable work environment, free from any discriminatory practices against women.
During the discussion, we exchanged perspectives with students on the importance of women's economic rights and their place in the labor market, emphasizing that universities are not only educational environments, but also platforms for initiating change and building a future of greater equality and empowerment for women.
We believe that investing in raising university students' awareness of the values of justice and equality is the foundation for leading positive change and creating a more inclusive and fair society.
