Establishment of the first drinking water plant in the University of Jordan
The Water, Energy and Environment Center at the University of Jordan has taken a decision requiring the establishment of a drinking water factory at the university in line with its vision and strategic objectives in implementing pilot projects to reach the concept of a productive university.
The plant will be built at a high level of technical equipment that ensures the provision of high quality drinking water and in accordance with the Jordanian specifications for bottled water No. 1214/2018, as well as the periodic monitoring process by the Water, Energy and Environment Center at the university that is accredited by the Jordanian Standards and Metrology Institution.
The plant proposed to be settled in the College of Engineering will constitute an ideal educational and training environment for university students by providing a theoretical and practical educational environment, in addition to providing drinking water to university students at nominal prices, which will achieve self-sufficiency for the university from drinking water.
