Hamdi Mango Center for Scientific Research held today a scientific and awareness session on breast cancer to mark the Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The session aimed mainly at raising awareness of the public of the importance of early detection of breast cancer and introducing the center’s research activities for the discovery of novel drugs for breast cancer.

The session comprised three components. First, researcher Hiba Zalloum from the HMCSR presented recent results on the discovery of new effective drugs candidates for treatment of breast cancer.
