​This lab aims to make a positive impact in virology research in Jordan. The lab could establish an experimental platform to study the antiviral effect of novel synthetic compounds and /or medicinal plant extracts against different viruses. We will be able to investigate also how viruses evolve under drug and host selective pressure and how this relates to treatment response and virus progression in infected cells.
