The first meeting of the Women's Studies Center Alumni Forum was held at the Women's Studies Center, chaired by Professor Dr. Amal Al-Awadah, Director of the Center. The alumni gathered in a spirit of enthusiasm and engagement to elect an administrative body for the Alumni Forum.
Dr. Al-Awadah welcomed the attendees and spoke about the importance of maintaining continuous communication between the center and its alumni in their various roles, which serves both the graduates and the center. She emphasized that the center’s alumni should remain connected and aware of the achievements of the center, while the center should stay in touch with its graduates to follow their academic and professional progress. This exchange of knowledge, benefits, and experiences contributes to sustainable development.
Dr. Al-Awadah also recalled the goals of the forum, which focus on building lasting relationships with alumni to strengthen their loyalty and affiliation with the center and the university. She highlighted the importance of continuous communication with graduates to monitor their career status and provide them with the necessary skills to enter the job market.
At the end of the meeting, the members of the Alumni Forum's administrative body were elected. The newly elected members expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the trust placed in them, affirming their commitment to working towards achieving the forum's goals in a way that benefits the center’s graduates.
