A discussion session on "Climate Change and Green Climate" organized by the Jordanian Paths and the Crown Prince Foundation in collaboration with the Women's Studies Center and the Department of Geology at the Faculty of Science, University of Jordan.
Professor Mahmoud Al-Jaghoub, Dean of the Faculty of Science, welcomed the distinguished guests. The session began with welcoming remarks from Dr. Amal Al-Awwad, Director of the Women's Studies Center, Dr. Ikhlas Al-Hajjoj, Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Quality, and Development at the Deanship of Student Affairs, Mr. Talal Ghanemat, Executive Director of Jordanian Paths, and Mr. Ahmed Abu Shaikha, Representative of the Crown Prince Foundation in Amman.
The session featured talks from:
- Mr. Bater Wardem, Expert in Climate Change and Green Economy.
- Engineer Shada Nabil Al-Sharif, Founder and Chief Consultant at SustainMENA for Consulting and Awareness Services.
- Dr. Sobhiya Saifan, Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology at Al-Ahliyya Amman University.
The session was moderated by Dr. Betty Al-Saqrat, Head of the Department of Geology at the Faculty of Science.
