131 thousand JD for "The Bacterial Community Shift Associated with Coral Reefs in Gulf of Aqaba" Project

Dr. Nehaya Alkarablieh
, a research assistant at HMCSR, got a fund with a total of JD 131,000 from the Scientific Research Support Fund (SRF) for her research project The Bacterial Community Shift Associated with Coral Reefs in Gulf of Aqaba". She signed the agreement of the project with Dr. Abdullah AlZu'bi, the Director- General of SRF and Prof Khaled Al-Fawares, The Dean of Academic Research at The University of Jordan, on Monday 10th of February 2014.
On same occasion, a total of 12 agreements for research projects were signed. Among which, the University of Jordan got four projects funded with a total budget of JD 342,237. The higher budget was for Dr. Alkarablieh.
It's worth mentioning that all proposed projects to SRF were subjected to national and international assessment, so that those research projects with highest importance at the national level and highest quality of scientific research were selected to be funded.
