Four EFL instructors from the University of Jordan Language Center participated in the 30th International Conference & Exhibition, titled “Enhancing ELT: Empowering Learners in an AI-Inclusive Era," held at the American University in Dubai on 7–8 February 2026. The event was organized by TESOL Conferences and brought together educators, researchers, and practitioners from around the world.
The University of Jordan delegation included Dr. Kosay M. Alshewiter, Head of the Department and Assistant Director for Quality and Program Development, along with Dr. Ghaida Yousef, Dr. Eman M. Ghanem, and Dr. Duha Alsayed Ahmad, all EFL instructors at the Language Center.
In addition to attending keynote sessions and engaging with global instructors and educators, the participants contributed academically by presenting two workshops entitled “Reimagining EFL Reading with AI and Digital Tools" and “English Major Students' Flow Experience in Writing."
The participation underscores the University of Jordan Language Center's commitment to academic excellence, innovation in English language teaching, and active engagement with international ELT communities in an era of rapidly evolving AI-driven education.
