Erectile Dysfunction

Erectile function is a complex neurovascular physiological process that depends on the interplay among neural, vascular, hormonal, and psychological factors. Erectile dysfunction (ED) is caused by various metabolic conditions or mechanical manipulations, e.g. diabetes, hypertension, atherosclerosis, trauma or surgery.

Pharmacotherapies for ED of various etiologies are now available. However, treatment options are limited. Since human Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) have the ability to self-renew and differentiate into various cell types, transplantation of MSCs has the potential to regenerate the damaged tissue, thus restoring normal erectile function after injury or degradation.

  • Assess the safety and efficency of autologous MSCs transplantaion
  • Evaluate the recovery  of natural erection by   performing detailed specific diagnostic tests prior and post MSCs idnjection
