Dr. Andrea Lausi, the Scientific Director of the Synchrotron-light for Experimental Science and Applications in the Middle East (SESAME) visited HMCSR on February 20th 2022. During this visit, both Dr. Lausi and Prof. Mahmoud Al-Hussein, the director of HMCSR explored different collaboration opportunities. The visit focused on how the researchers of HMCSR and graduate students of the UJ can make use of the three operating beamlines at SESAME to complement their research with the synchrotron facility capabilities.
