The University of Jordan Hospital, in cooperation with the Stem Cell Therapy Center and the Faculty of Medicine, organized a lecture on "Methods of Publishing in International Scientific Journals", presented by Dr. David Collingridge, Visiting Professor of Global Oncology at the College of Cancer and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Kingzhou, Editor-in-Chief of The Lancet Oncology Journal and Director of Publishing for Specialized Journals at The Lancet,in the presence of Prof. Dr. Director of the Cell Therapy Center, Prof. Abdullah Al-Abadi, Prof. Dr. Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and a number of medical and technical Staff working in The center, the hospital and students of medical colleges.
During the lecture, Dr. Collingridge stressed the importance of scientific research and modern methods provided by advanced technology in international publishing operations.
Dr. Collingridge received his PhD in Oncology Biology from the Cancer Institute, University College London, UK, and has held several important research positions, and has won numerous awards for projects focused on cancer control in low- and middle-income countries.
