A delegation from the University of Medicine and Medical Sciences of Ireland visits the center
The Vice President of the University of Jordan for Scientific Faculties Affairs, Dr. Ashraf Abu Karaki, discussed with a delegation from the University of Medicine and Medical Sciences of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland ways of cooperation in a number of academic fields of common interest.

The visiting delegation included the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Dr. Daran O'Connor, the Director of the Medical Systems Center and Dean of International Scientific Participation, Dr. Joshen Prehen, and the meeting was also attended by the Dean of Graduate Studies at the University of Jordan, Dr. Suhail Haddadin, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Yasser Al-Rayyan, and the Assistant Director of the Cell Therapy Center, Dr. Hanan Jafar.

During the meeting, Abu Karaki stressed that the university pays great attention to expanding the base of international cooperation with prestigious higher education institutions, pointing out that the university's ranking has witnessed tangible progress this year, reaching 368th place according to the QS World Ranking, pointing to the possibility of signing a joint memorandum of cooperation to be the beginning of real cooperation between the two parties.

The two parties exchanged their vision on their potential cooperation, which may include the establishment of a joint doctoral program in basic medical sciences at the Faculty of Medicine, the exchange of students for practical medical training, cooperation in the fields of scientific research, delegation and scientific exchange in the fields of specialization of the Cell Therapy Center.

The delegation also visited the College of Pharmacy, where its members discussed with the Deputy Dean of the College and those in charge of it, in the presence of the Director of the International Affairs Unit, the possibility of establishing a joint doctoral program in clinical pharmacy, and exchanging students through the Erasmus Plus program for mobility KA171.

In addition, the delegation visited the Faculty of Medicine, visited the Cell Therapy Center and expressed their admiration for the scientific, technical, academic and educational environment in it.
