The Language Center at the University of Jordan received today the Cultural Attaché from the Chinese Embassy in Jordan, accompanied by his delegation, during a visit aimed at strengthening cultural and academic cooperation between the two countries.
During the visit, the Cultural Attaché met with the Director of the Language Center, the Deputy Directors for Academic and Administrative Affairs, the Assistant Director for Student Affairs, and the Head of the Arabic Language Department for Non-Native Speakers. This visit comes as part of ongoing efforts to enhance collaboration between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the People's Republic of China in the fields of education and culture.
The Cultural Attaché emphasized the importance of fostering cultural understanding between the Jordanian and Chinese people through education and joint activities. He also commended the Language Center at the University of Jordan for its role in teaching Arabic and broadening the horizons of Chinese students to better understand Jordanian and Arab culture.
For his part, the Director of the Language Center expressed the center's pride in its partnership with the Chinese Embassy, noting that the visit reflects the commitment to enhancing academic and cultural relations between the two sides. He affirmed the center's dedication to offering top-quality educational programs in Arabic.
The visit also included a tour of the center's facilities, during which the delegation was introduced to the programs and activities available to students.
